I am sure a lot of wifeys will share this experience with me, so I wanted to vent out something I have been feeling lately. Some weeks I feel like I can't breathe without my hubby by my side, and all I can think of when I am at work is coming home and getting a big enveloping hug from him. But then last week he had a work trip and was away for 5 whole days, which I thought was going to be really hard, but it was actually really refreshing.

I never lived alone, so having the place to myself was kind of fun, I took a bath, watched silly movies, got takeouts, worked out, and basically had a whole week to treat myself and invest in self-care. So now, even though I am extremely happy that my hubby is back, I feel kind of guilty that I didn't miss him more.
